Growing up, I was an extremely introverted person. I was the kid, tame term in the back row, who never raised her hand. In concourse assignments, I would refrain from speaking out. And, I never volunteered to clue group projects. As an adult, I still kowtow at the feeling of showcasing my leadership skills.
